Lakhimpur, 11/10:The main accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri case, Ashish Mishra, has been handed over to the court on 3 days remand. Many conditions have also been imposed in the remand handed over from 12th to 15th. The SIT had sought 14-day remand from Ashish for his interrogation. Ashish’s lawyer opposed this. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court handed over Ashish on remand for 3 days. This remand is from 12 October to 15 October.
During the hearing, it was said on behalf of the police that Ashish Mishra was interrogated only for 12 hours, in which he did not answer. That’s why he needs 14 days of police custody, but this was opposed by Ashish’s lawyer. Ashish’s lawyer said that the police had only 40 questions to ask Ashish, which were asked. It was told on behalf of Ashish’s lawyer that if the police has to interrogate, then they can do it by going to jail
