BCCI invites applications for 5 posts including head coach of Indian team

Mumbai, 17/10: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited applications for 5 posts including the head coach of Team India on Sunday. The BCCI has invited applications for the posts of Head Coach, Batting Coach, Bowling Coach, Fielding Coach and Head Sports Science or Medicine for the National Cricket Academy for Senior Men’s Team. The last date to apply for the post of Head Coach is October 26 till 5 PM. While the last date to apply for the rest of the posts is November 3.

Team India’s head coach Ravi Shastri will leave his post after the T20 World Cup. At the same time, there was news that after Shastri’s departure, former Indian captain Rahul Dravid will take over this responsibility. According to media reports, Rahul Dravid has given his consent to become the coach. Dravid’s contract will first be till 2023.
