Cricketer Yuvraj Singh arrested in Haryana, made derogatory remarks on Scheduled Castes

Hisar, 17/10:Cricketer Yuvraj Singh has been arrested by Hisar Police in Haryana’s Hansi in a case registered on derogatory remarks against Scheduled Castes. A case is registered against Yuvraj in Hansi city police station. Yuvraj is accused of making derogatory remarks on Yuzvendra Chahal towards Scheduled Castes in a live chat with Rohit Sharma last year.
The Hansi police interrogated Yuvraj after arresting him. He was questioned at Hisar Jio Mess. After this, Yuvraj Singh has been released on formal bail on the orders of the High Court. In this case, a few days ago, the High Court had ordered anticipatory bail to Yuvraj Singh. Due to this, the Hansi police formally arrested him, got to know the answers of some questions from him and then he was released on the basis of anticipatory bail papers. It is noteworthy that he was arrested on Saturday and released again after three hours of interrogation.

Yuvraj did not come alone
Yuvraj reached Hisar to join the investigation only after the order of the High Court. Along with him, four or five staff members and lawyers, including the security personnel, had also reached Hisar from Chandigarh. After a few hours of action and questioning, he once again left for Chandigarh. It is worth noting that social activist Rajat Kalsan had complained to the police, on which a case was registered against Yuvraj.
