Firecrackers banned in these states this Diwali

Chandigarh, 31/10: After Delhi, firecrackers have been banned in 14 districts of Haryana as well. The use and sale of firecrackers has been banned in 14 districts along with NCR in the state. People will not be able to use firecrackers even in polluted areas. People can use only green crackers. The State Disaster Management Authority has also fixed the time. Only two hours of crackers will be allowed on Diwali. During this, police teams will also inspect. These instructions will also be applicable to cities and towns with poor air quality.

 

The Haryana government has issued guidelines regarding the sale and use of firecrackers on Diwali, Gurpurab and Chhath. The sale and use of firecrackers has been banned in all the 14 districts falling in the NCR. In cities and towns where the level of air pollution is in the poor and average category, there will also be a ban on crackers. Apart from this, the sale and use of green firecrackers was allowed in other areas.

 

 

Green crackers can be burst on Diwali from 8 pm to 10 pm. On Chhath festival, crackers will be able to go off from 6 am to 8 am. On the occasion of New Year’s Eve, firecrackers can be burst only from 11:55 pm to 12:30 pm. Only licensed sellers will be able to sell firecrackers, the sale of firecrackers online has been banned.
