Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti: Celebrations on Statue of Unity, Home Minister Amit Shah will attend

Ahmedabad, 31/10: Today is the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as ‘Iron Man’. On this occasion many programs will be held in different parts of the country. Special programs will also be organized on his statue, the Statue of Unity, built in Kevadiya, Gujarat. Since 2014, National Unity Day is celebrated on 31 October on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti. Today, under this, Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in the program organized on the Statue of Unity. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to attend this program. But, he is currently in Italy. In such a situation, Shah will represent him.

A recorded video message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be played in the ceremony. At the same time, Home Minister Amit Shah will address the ceremony as the chief guest. As part of this ceremony, an unity parade will be held, for which police personnel from across the country have been invited to Kevadiya. It said that the personnel of Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force and Central Reserve Police Force will also participate in the unity parade and perform bold feats at the venue.

 

75 cyclists of ITBP, SSB, CISF, CRPF and BSF from many parts of the country will travel 9,000 km to reach here on Sunday. Apart from this, 101 policemen from Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Jammu and Kashmir and Gujarat will travel 9200 km by bike to take part in this function.
