Former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh arrested by ED

Mumbai, 2/11: After questioning former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh for nearly 13 hours, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested him in the money laundering case related to corruption charges filed against him by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in April.

 

Earlier, the ED has arrested his personal assistant Kundan Shinde and private secretary Sanjeev Palande. Both were named in the chargesheet along with dummy companies and a Nagpur-based educational trust.
