New Delhi,8/11:The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) headed by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has recommended the Winter Session. This time the winter session will start from November 29 and will continue till December 23. News18 has been informed by quoting sources that the CCPA meeting was held in the last week of October. In this meeting, the recommendation for the winter session has been given. The source says- ‘There will be a total of 19 days of work during this session. The sessions of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will run concurrently. There may be a meeting this week regarding the Kovid protocol.
In fact, the winter session is being considered important because within a few months, assembly elections are going to be held in five states. Uttar Pradesh is also included in these states, which is also being called the semi-final of the year 2024.
Monsoon and winter session happened simultaneously
Last year the winter session could not be held due to the Corona epidemic. Then later the winter session was merged with the monsoon session. The last session of Parliament lasted from 19 July to 11 August. Due to the pandemic, only a very limited number of people were allowed inside the premises during the session. Secretaries of MPs and former MPs were also not given entry.
