PM Modi laid the foundation stone of Jewar Airport, said – this is a model of connectivity

Noida, 25/11:Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) on Thursday did Jewar International Airport located in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Addressing the public meeting on this occasion, the Prime Minister said that jewelery has now come on the international stage and Delhi NCR will also benefit from it along with the people of UP. He said that the 21st century India is building more than one modern infrastructure today. Better roads, railways and airports are not just infra projects, they transform the entire region. Change people’s lives. Be it poor or middle class…everyone gets a lot of benefits from it. The power of infra projects increases when they have seamless and last mile connectivity. Jewar International Airport will be a model according to connectivity.

The Prime Minister said that the aviation sector is growing at a rapid rate in the country. Indian companies are buying hundreds of planes, for them also Noida International Airport will play a big role. This airport will be the biggest center for maintenance and repair of aircraft. The Prime Minister said that planes of the country and abroad will get service from here and hundreds of youth will get employment. The PM said that even today we send 85 percent of our planes abroad for repair. Only 15 thousand crores are spent on repairing. This airport will help to change this situation as well. The PM said that the dream of multi-modal cargo is being realized through this airport. The development of this entire area will get impetus.

He said that for the states whose border is adjacent to the sea, ports are a huge asset, but for landlocked states like UP, the same role is played by the airport. The power of Aligarh, Agra, Bijnor, Bareilly and other industrial cities and regions will also increase greatly. The international airport will connect directly to international markets. Small farmers here will be able to export directly. Our artists of Khurja, Pot Industry of Meerut, furniture of Saharanpur, Petha of Agra and MSMEs of Western UP will get easy access to foreign countries.

The PM said that earlier it was believed that there is an airport in Delhi, so why should an airport be built here. We have given air connectivity in Hindon and are building an airport in Hisar. We all have seen that Mata Vaishno Devi Jana or Kedarghat… After the start of helicopter service, the number of tourists has increased. Noida International Airport is doing this work for Western UP. After 70 years of independence, UP has started getting what it deserves. Due to the double engine government, UP is a new example of connectivity in the country. Be it expressways, railways or dedicated freight corridors, these are the hallmarks of modern UP.
