Mumbai, 29/11:The country’s largest e-wallet company Paytm has recently introduced a prepaid RuPay card Paytm Wallet Transit Card. This card can be used at all merchant outlets or online websites that accept RuPay cards. This card is a prepaid card, which will be linked to your Paytm Wallet balance. In other words, through this card also you can use the wallet balance. Through this card, users can make payments in metro, railways, state-owned government buses, toll and parking.
According to Paytm Payments Bank Ltd., not only this card can also be used for online shopping and ATM withdrawal. Through the transit card, users will be able to do all the work related to banking and transactions easily. A completely digital process has been adopted in this card. Home delivery of this card will be done to the users. The prepaid card is directly linked to the wallet. Paytm Transit Card has been rolled out in collaboration with Hyderabad Metro Rail.
Where has it been used?
Paytm Transit Card has started in Delhi Airport Express Line and Ahmedabad Metro. Users can use Paytm Transit Card through a single card in metro cities as well as in other metros across the country. Satish Gupta, MD & CEO, Paytm Payments Bank said that with the launch of Paytm Transit Card, millions of Indians will be able to do all things through a single card. Banking needs and transport have been specially taken care of in this card.
