Jagatsinghpur, 28/12: In a major development, Today , Samir Kumar Mallick, Revenue Inspector (RI), Japa, Dist- Jagatsinghpur has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand ) from a Complainant in order to favour him in a mutation case in Ersamma Tahasil, Dist- Jagatsinghpur. The entire bribe money has been recovered from Sri Mallick and seized.
In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No 55 dt.27.12.21 u/s 7 PC (Amended)2018 has been registered. Investigation in progress against Sri Mallick.
Simultaneous searches have been launched on properties of Sri Mallick at 2 places in Jagatsinghpur district.
