Amar Jawan Jyoti to merge with National war memorial

New Delhi,21/1: In the memory of the brave sons of India, the Amar Jawan Jyoti, which has been burning at the India Gate for the last 50 years, is going to be merged with the National War Memorial. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the National War Memorial in the year 2019. Agni will be taken to the new location in the program to be held on Friday. The Prime Minister along with military officers lays wreath at the war memorial ahead of Republic Day.

 

The first semi-final of the T20 World Cup will be played in Sydney on 9 November and the second at the Adelaide Oval on 10 November. This will be the first time that the semi-final of the World Cup will be held at the Adelaide Oval. At the same time, the title match of the tournament will be held on November 13, 2022 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This match will be played in floodlights.

According to the language, Amar Jawan Jyoti was established in the memory of the Indian soldiers who were martyred in the Indo-Pak war of 1971. India was victorious in this war and Bangladesh was formed. It was inaugurated on 26 January 1972 by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. There is a memorial in honor of all the soldiers at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate, where the rifle and the soldier’s helmet are mounted on marble.
