Students protest over NTPC results

Patna, 25/1:On the second day in Bihar, students protested fiercely regarding the RRB NTPC Result. Trains are being stopped and railway tracks are being jammed by furious youth and students at different places in the state for the last two days. In protest against the changes made in the Group D examination of the Railways, on Tuesday also, students created a ruckus and demonstration at many places like Patna, Ara, Buxar, Nawada and Bihar Sharif. Students uprooted clips from the track on the Gaya-Nawada railway line. The Shramjeevi Express going to New Delhi stood at the outer signal for one and a half hours due to the students’ protest at Bihar Sharif station. Angry students pelted stones at Nawada railway station and attacked the railway station. At the same time, the Howrah-Delhi rail road was blocked in Buxar.

 

On getting information about the commotion and jamming of the track, senior police and administration officials reached from place to place. Due to the students’ protests, the operation of many major trains across the country is being affected. Many trains have been diverted and many are running late.
