In the UP Vidhan Sabha elections (UP Vidhan Sabha Election 2022), a youth threw ink at the Congress Star Campaigner Kanhiya Kumar at the party headquarters on Tuesday. According to Congress leaders, ink was thrown at Kanhaiya Kumar when he reached there to participate in the nomination of Congress candidate for Lucknow Central seat, Sadaf Zafar. During this, Kanhaiya Kumar also sought votes for Congress in the streets of Lucknow. He said that Congress is getting new now. Old people are leaving, but new people are also joining.
On the other hand, Congress leaders claim that it was not an ink thrown but an acid attack. He said that it was fortunate that the acid did not fall on Kanhaiya. Although some drops have fallen on 3-4 youths standing around him. After beating the youth, he was handed over to the police. At present, the police is interrogating the accused youth by taking him into custody.
