Bahubali MLA and Mafia Don Mukhtar Ansari gets bail

Azamgarh, 16/2: Mau Sadar MLA and Bahubali leader Mukhtar Ansari, lodged in Banda Jail, has been granted bail by the MP-MLA Court of Mau in a case of Gangster Act on a personal bond of one lakh. At the same time, the court has said that if there is no case against him, then he should be released from jail immediately. Significantly, in the seventh phase, elections are to be held in Mau district and this time his son Suheldev is contesting from the Mau Sadar seat from the Bharatiya Samaj Party.

It is worth noting that in 2011, a case of Gangster Act was registered against him in a case of South Tola of Mau. In this case, Mukhtar Ansari’s lawyer told the court that he has completed the 10-year sentence in this case, now he should get bail. Accepting this argument of the lawyer, the court ordered his immediate release on a personal bond of one lakh rupees. Mukhtar’s lawyer said that if there is no case against him, he will be released immediately.
