New Delhi, 20/2: Yash Dhull, the captain of India’s Under-19 world winning team, continues with a bang in the Ranji Trophy 2021-22. Dhul has become the first batsman from Delhi and the third overall to score a century in both the innings of the debut match. This young Delhi batsman scored an unbeaten 113 in the second innings against Tamil Nadu (Delhi vs Tamil Nadu) on the fourth day of the Ranji Trophy match played in Guwahati. Dhul, who contributed 113 runs in the first innings, hit 14 fours and a six in 202 balls in the second innings. This match ended in a draw.
Earlier, Nari Contractor of Gujarat and Virat Awate of Maharashtra had scored centuries in both the innings of Ranji Trophy debut match. 19-year-old right-handed batsman Yash Dhul started his career as a middle order batsman. He entered the Ranji Trophy for the first time as an opener, and robbed the entire gathering by performing brilliantly in both the innings.
