Goa, 8/3: After the results of the Goa Assembly elections, the Congress is exploring the possibilities of an alliance in the state. The party has announced to come together with ‘anti-BJP parties’. The special thing is that the Congress is also ready for an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Trinamool Congress (TMC) in the state. Whereas, earlier the Congress had accused both the parties of working on the behest of the Bharatiya Janata Party. After the completion of polling in five states- Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur, the counting of votes will be done on March 10.
According to the Indian Express, Dinesh Gundu Rao, Goa desk in-charge of All India Congress Committee said on Monday, “Whoever is against the BJP, we will talk to them and we are ready to come with them.” I am not talking about any particular party right now. Any party that does not want to support the BJP, we are ready to give them space.
