Delhi model to be implemented in Punjab: CM Bhagwant Mann

Chandigarh, 16/3: The new Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann has promised to give a government like Arvind Kejriwal in the state. After taking oath as CM, Bhagwant Mann thanked Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal. The special thing about this swearing-in ceremony was that this event was held in Khatkar Kalan, the native village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

On this occasion, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann reiterated the words of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and said that love is a natural right of everyone, why not this time the land of the country should be made a lover.

Let us know what special things Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann did in his swearing-in ceremony.

Bhagwant Mann said that, I express my heartfelt gratitude to all the people present here who reached the swearing-in ceremony organized in the native village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

On my left is the cabinet of Delhi and on the right is the 91 newly elected MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party. Let us all welcome them with loud applause.

“There is a special reason to come to Khatkar Kalan. Earlier the swearing-in ceremony was held at the cricket stadium and Raj Bhavan. But I have a special place in my heart for Bhagat Singh.

Our government in the state is for you people. We will work on unemployment, agriculture. I am the chief minister of all in Punjab, even those who did not vote for the Aam Aadmi Party.”

Bhagat Singh had said that ‘to love is everyone’s right’. Love your motherland, love the soil that gave birth to you.”

You have seen how people from different countries come to Delhi to visit Mohalla Clinics and government schools. We will change Punjab in the same way.

I thank Arvind Kejriwal who formed the Aam Aadmi Party and brought it to power in Punjab.

A golden chapter has begun in history and it will be taught in schools. We seek blessings from martyrs, freedom fighters and elders and thank the people of Punjab for their support.”

It was a big dream to visit Bhagat Singh’s village and pay tribute to him and work for the people of Punjab. True rulers are those who rule over the hearts of the people.”

We will start the work slowly. I appeal to all of you not to debate or use abusive words on social media. Because people should feel that a mature government is in power.”
