OCPL donates Rs 10 Crore to CM relief fund

Bhubaneswar, 31/3: Odisha Coal and Power Limited, the only government-owned coal company in the state government, has provided Rs 10 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

 

Energy Secretary Shri Nikunja Dhal handed over a check of Rs 10 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik through video conferencing at a function held at Lok Seba Bhavan on the occasion today. This money is provided from the dividend of ‌OCPL4

 

 

The function was attended by Energy Minister Captain Shri Divyashkar Mishra, OCPL CEO Shri Sariputta Mishra and other senior officers.

 

It is to be noted that OCPL is considered to be one of the most lucrative public enterprises in the state in a very short period of time During the coal crisis in the country, OCPL has produced more coal than the government has set for this year. The coal has been used in many industries in and outside the state

 

The OCPL continues its efforts to empower women and youth groups in Sundergarh district through a variety of approaches.
