Mumbai, 31/7: Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials reached Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s residence early morning to conduct searches at his home in Bhandup. ED is likely to ask Raut to accompany them for questioning in the money laundering case related to the redevelopment fraud of Goregaon’s Patra Chawl.
Earlier Raut failed to appear before the ED for further statements despite two summons. Two days ago, a witness in the case Swapna Patkar reported to the police that she was getting threatening calls asking her to withdraw her statement to ED against Raut.
