Sambalpur : The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways celebrates National Road Safety Week from January 11 to January 17 every year. It intends to spread awareness on the importance of road safety, which is a major health concern for authorities and the government.
JSW BPSL, Sambalpur works committed to prevent Road Incidents in and around the industry. Under the able Leadership & Guidance of Shri Anil Kumar Singh, President & Whole Time Director, the Company has established the Dedicated training Centre to educate the Road Users, Drivers, and transporters to impart the training on Road Safety measures.
In order to inculcate the Road Safety Culture, the works and project site, JSWBPSL, Sambalpur works, conducts Road Safety March every month. More than four hundred employees participated in this event. Mr. Shyamlendu Rout, Motor Vehicle Inspector from RTO Office, Sambalpur also attended this event.

Chief Guest Mr. Umesh Rai, Chief Operating Officer addressed the gathering and emphasized on the importance of road safety and the measures we are taking for improvement. The overall event was coordinated by Dr.T.Yogeswara, Safety Advisor and a vote of thanks was given by Mr. Ashok Biswal, GM (Safety & Fire Services).
