Ranpur, 27/04 : It is known that a young man has died in an elephant attack. According to the information, Jagabandhu Jena (42), son of Late Gurbari Jena of Bandhpalla village of Mahatpalla Panchayat under Ranpur Block , went to guard the paddy crop in his land last night. At this time, he saw the elephant entering the paddy field and eating the paddy crop. It is known that Jagabandhu died after being attacked by elephant while driving away the elephant. Later the family brought him to Ranpur Medical Center. There he was pronounced dead by Dr. Baidyanath Nanda. After this, the hospital informed the police. The autopsy had not been done till the report writing.
