Subarnapur, 9/5: Today i.e on 9.5.2023, short while ago,Sri Siba Prasad Guru, Head Clerk, office of Sub-Registrar, Tarava, Dist- Subarnapur along with Sri Hemakanta Bishi (Private Person) has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe Rs 24,000/- from a Complainant through Sri Bishi in order to process 6 nos.of sale deeds for registration of land of complt. and 5 others. The entire bribe money has been recovered from Sri Bishi and seized.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations of Sri Guru, Head clerk from DA angle.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance PS Case No.11/2023 U/s 7/12 PC Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered against both the accused persons Sri Guru and Sri Bishi. Investigation is in progress against both Sri Guru, Head clerk and Sri Bishi.Report By Ugrasen Karmi.
