Bhubaneswar, 27/11: In a big political development, former IAS officer and 5T and Naveen Odisha chairman VK Pandian today joined the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD), announced party president Naveen Patnaik.
The Central Government had approved the voluntary retirement of the former bureaucrat on October 23.
Odisha Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik has inducted his former secretary into the BJD.
VK Pandian joined the BJD in the presence of ministers and several senior leaders of the party.
