27/04/2024, Kalinganagar, Continuing the annual tradition, a Water distribution Center was inaugurated this year near State Highway 20 at the Jindal Main Gate Parking on the 23rd of this month by Jindal Stainless Limited. The ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Sunil Agarwal, the head of the Finance Department, who distributed fresh drinking water to pedestrians. He emphasized the benefit for factory workers and commuters alike, announcing plans to expand the initiative with more Water distribution Centers in future years. Throughout the factory, additional Water Distribution Centers have been established for all employees and contractors.
At the launch event, Mr. Rakesh Pathak, Head of Human Resources, highlighted that the program would extend until the first week of June, with plans to install two permanent automatic water dispensers in the nearby location. Mr. Balkrishna Panigrahi, Mr. Binay Prasad and other senior executives were also present, assisting in distributing water to the pedestrians. The initiative, greatly appreciated by pedestrians and local villagers, was coordinated by Mr. Mihir Kumar Das and Sangeet Mohapatra from the company’s and External Relations departments.”
