Golamunda, 1/8: On receipt of credible input regarding collection of huge bribe amount illegally as PC by Smt Akhyamita Kartik, OAS, BDO of Golamunda Block, Kalahandi, and her movement towards native at Koraput, a team of Odisha Vigilance intercepted her today, a short while ago, near Jaring in between Bhabanipatna- Junagarh and cash of 5 lakhs approx recovered and seized. She is being interrogated to ascertain the source of funds. Searches launched at her locations in Koraput and Kalahandi. Further report follows
