Cuttack:(AO Bureau) :- Jazba Hashim Abdullah Trust, a non-governmental organization committed to social welfare, has commenced its annual tree plantation drive. With an ambitious goal of planting 10,000 trees this year, the program was inaugurated at the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) Cuttack Campus.
The event witnessed the active participation of Mr. Safdar Hashim, Chairperson of the trust, and Dr. Abrar Ul Haq, Principal of MANUU Polytechnic Cuttack. University staff and students joined hands to plant 300 saplings, symbolizing their commitment to environmental conservation.
The students have pledged to nurture these saplings, ensuring their healthy growth. The tree plantation drive will continue throughout the monsoon season until the target is achieved. Mr. Hashim encourages everyone to contribute by planting at least one tree during this period.
In recognition of their impactful initiative, MANUU presented Jazba Hashim Abdullah Trust with a Letter of Appreciation.
