Sambalpur, August 21, 2024: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a leading coal producer, has been honoured with two prestigious Dun & Bradstreet PSU Excellence Awards. MCL was recognised as the Best Mini-Ratna Category-1 company and the best in Coal (Central PSU).
The awards were presented to MCL last evening during a ceremony in New Delhi. Dr Shambhu Jha, General Manager (Mining), received the awards from Dr. Bibek Debroy, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EACPM), Government of India.
This marks the second consecutive year that MCL has received accolades from Dun & Bradstreet for its business excellence.
Shri Uday Anant Kaole, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, along with the Functional Directors of MCL, congratulated the entire MCL team for these distinguished awards.
