Sambalpur : In a significant milestone for Community Development, CSR Department of JSWBPSL has proudly inaugurated a
newly constructed Community Center in Lapanga village, situated near the Ramchandi Temple. This initiative
underscores JSW Foundation’s ongoing commitment to enhance the quality of life in peripheral areas through
impactful CSR activities.
The inauguration ceremony, held on 11th Sep 2024, in the presence of Mr. Vishal Raj-Head CSR of JSW
Foundation Sambalpur & Jharsuguda, alongside distinguished guests Mr. Durga Prasad Sahu, Mr. Pradeep Sahu,
Mr. Byasadev Sahu, Mr. Sanjiv Panda and other esteemed members of the village committee.
The newly built community center is designed to serve as a versatile venue for residents, offering a dedicated
space for social and cultural activities. The community center aims to foster community engagement by
providing an inclusive gathering spot where individuals and groups of all ages can connect and collaborate on
various initiatives.
During the inauguration, Mr. Vishal Raj highlighted the center’s role in nurturing a sense of belonging and social
inclusion among community members. He emphasized that the new facility would act as a catalyst for collective
endeavors and reaffirmed JSW Foundation’s ongoing support for the development of the Gram Panchayat and
the local community.
