Mr. Thabir Naik from KISS, Odisha, has been selected to represent the Indian Men’s Team at the U-23 Asian Beach Sepaktakraw Championship 2024. This esteemed event will be held in Qingdao, China, from September 18th to 23rd, 2024.
Mr. Naik’s selection followed a thorough open trial organized by the Sepaktakraw Federation of India on August 11th, 2024, at the K.D. Jadhav Hall, IGI Sports Complex, ITO, New Delhi.
Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS, and Pruthiraj Sahoo, Secretary of the Odisha State Sepak Takraw Association, have extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Thabir and the Indian Sepaktakraw Team. They have also pledged their full support and encouragement for the success of the team in the championship.
