SUBARNAPUR — Surubali Deep (60) and her daughter-in-law Babi Deep (23) of Sonepur Block Rengali Panchayat Saharapali village of Sonepur block, Subarnapur district died after their house collapsed while they were sleeping at night. Surubali died on the spot due to the house collapsing at around 11:30 last night while her 7-month-old granddaughter was sleeping in front of the house. The daughter-in-law and granddaughter were seriously injured. Neighbors rescued her from the house and took her to Nikenpali Community Health Center by ambulance. They were shifted to Bhimabhoi Medical in Balangir as their condition was critical. Doctors there declared Surubali dead. After post-mortem his body was handed over to his family.
