26-year-old succumbs to work stress four months after joining EY Pune

Pune, 18/9: A 26-year-old woman at Ernst & Young (EY) Pune lost her life four months after joining the accounting firm which falls amid the Big Four. Her family has alleged that it was due to work stress.

Anna Sebastian Perayil, a young Chartered Accountant (CA) from Kerala, lost her life after being ‘burdened’ with ‘backbreaking work’. Following the tragedy, her mother has written an email to the firm’s India boss Rajiv Meman.
