Closing ceremony of ‘Hindi Fortnight’ held at NTPC Darlipali

Sundargarh: (Correspondence):- Hindi Fortnight 2024 was celebrated from 14th to 28th September, 2024 to promote the progressive use of Hindi in daily work at NTPC Darlipali. The closing ceremony of Rajbhasha Fortnight was held on 28th September at Konark Auditorium of the Project under the chairmanship of Chief Guest, Shri Ram Bhajan Malik, Project Head (Darlipali). During Rajbhasha Fortnight, various types of competitions like essay writing, quizzes, Hindi poetry singing, antakshari, dictation, etc. were organised in all the offices of the project to encourage the personnel to work in Hindi.
Addressing the program, Shri Ram Bhajan Malik, Project Head (Darlipali) said that to make Hindi proud, it is not only our responsibility but also our duty to use Hindi as much as possible in daily office work and daily behavior. He said that various programs and competitions have been organized during Hindi fortnight this year at NTPC Darlipali. These include signature writing competition, calligraphy competition, question paper competition, poetry and reel competition for women of township. The project head expressed happiness and said that our employees, housewives, children participated enthusiastically in these competitions and made the Rajbhasha fortnight a success, which is commendable.
In the Rajbhasha closing ceremony, the winners of the competitions organised during the fortnight were honoured by giving prizes. Along with this, Mr. Pramod Kumar Singh, Additional General Manager (C&M), Mrs. Pratibha Singh, Additional General Manager (Human Resources), and two teachers of Bal Bharti Public School, who were part of the jury, were also honoured.
During the Hindi fortnight closing ceremony, an “Akhil Bhartiy Kavi Sammlen” was also organised, in which famous poets of the country and abroad recited songs, ghazals, humorous poems, and satires.
Mainly Mr. Hare Ram Singh, General Manager (O&M), all department heads, officers, employees, and residents of Shubh Jyotinagar were present in the program.
Smt. Pratibha Singh, Additional General Manager (Human Resources), presented the vote of thanks and appreciated the contribution of all the officers in making the Rajbhasha event a success.
