SUBARNAPUR, 13/10: — Fatal road accident on Khurdha -Balangir National Highway in Deshahara. Car hit a scooty. Scooty rider dead. Information of car rider injured.Locals peoples blocked the national highway. Hundreds of vehicles were stock on both sides. The car ran over the scooter rider and hit a electric pole. The deceased was Chittaranjan Sahu of Adenigarh village, Harbhanga block, Boudh district. According to the information today, Khurdha-Balangir NH no.57a car (24BH 2521E) coming from Bhubaneswar at Adenigarh Ganesh Bazar Chhak under Purunakatak Police Station of National Highway No.57. The scooty (No. OD 27-D-1757) was hit by the rider of the scooty who died on the spot. After the accident, the family and villagers put the dead body on the road to compensate for the loss of the National Highway no. 57 was blocked. Hundreds of vehicles were stock on both sides of the National Highway due to road blockade.
