Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to go on a two-day visit to Mumbai from October 18. During his Mumbai visit, Majhi will meet investors and work to attract investments to the mineral-rich state.
During his recent visit to his hometown Keonjhar, the Chief Minister told the media that he will leave for Mumbai on a two-day visit to meet the captains of industry and attract investment to Odisha. He will meet investors in Mumbai and invite them to come to Odisha. Majhi will also attend a road show in the financial capital of the country on behalf of the Industries Department and highlight the potential for rapid industrialisation in Odisha.The Chief Minister will hold talks with investors on setting up a steel plant in Keonjhar.In the first week of October, the Chief Minister visited New Delhi and to attract investments to Odisha and held discussions with Ambassadors, High Commissioners, commercial commissioners and capitalists of various countries.Majhi also held a roadshow in New Delhi and urged investors to participate in Odisha’s flagship industrial meet ‘Utkarsh Odisha: Make In Odisha Conclave 2025’ scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar on January 28 and 29.
