PM Modi to launch Ayushman Bharat Part-2 today, new health insurance cards by financial year end in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Ayushman Bharat Part-2 today. Accordingly, free health services will be available to all citizens above 70 years of age.As per reports, following the launch of Ahushman Bharat 2 by PM Modi, the new health insurance cards will be available in Odisha by the end of this financial year. Odisha Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling said that there will be one card for Ayushman and Gopbandhu Jana Arogya Yojana card.Ayushman Yojana was not implemented in Odisha earlier. So Modality is not prepared. The Health Minister said that the modality will be prepared soon and it will be implemented by the end of this financial year.A meeting with the Chief Minister has been held and discussions are going on with the Central Government. This new card will be arranged for one crore families in the state. The new cards will be provided by the end of this financial year. About 3 crore 50 lakh people will get benefits.The old card used to provide medical facilities in 950 hospitals. After the launch of this new card, people will get medical facilities in 27 thousand hospitals.Under this scheme, citizens above the age of 70 years will get free health care.
