He and his two friends executed the murder plan on Monday night when the couple was returning from an Aadhaar Kendra in Nandapur. Firstly, accused Mahesh Mali beat the victim woman with a wooden lathi (baton) and she collapsed on the ground. Later, Mahendra beat his wife to death. She died on the spot,” Sunabeda SDPO Manabrata Satpathy stated while briefing in a presser.
