NTPC Foundation Day celebrated in Darlipali Project

Darlipali (7 November). NTPC's 50th Foundation Day celebrations were celebrated with great enthusiasm
in Darlipali Project. The program was organized in two phases. In the first phase, program organized in
the administrative building complex, Chief Guest and Head of Project (Darlipali) Shri Ram Bhajan
Malik inaugurated the function by hoisting the NTPC flag traditionally. NTPC song was also sung by the
people present. Addressing the function, Shri Malik congratulated all the employees, welfare
organizations and all the members of the NTPC family. Earlier, all the employees of Darlipali joined the
live telecast of the program organized at the Corporate Office, New Delhi, where Chairman and
Managing Director of NTPC Limited, Shri Gurdeep Singh addressed the employees of the company and
also launched the new logo of NTPC on 50 years.
NTPC Foundation Day was celebrated by cutting cake at Darlipali Project, where Sh. Malik cut the cake
and fed cake to General Manager (O&M) Sh. Hare Ram Singh, all the department heads, CMO, school
principal, DC CISF, representatives of various unions and associations and employees.
In the second phase of the program, a musical evening was organized in Konark Auditorium, in
shubhrajyotinagar township. The program started with lighting of lamps, The program started with a
fancy dress competition by children. This was followed by a ramp walk by solo and couple duos in which
NTPC employees and their families participated. Women were seen in regional traditional costumes in
the ramp walk. after which the artists of Sargam Band from Raipur won everyone's heart with their
melodious voice and performance. And forced the audience to hum songs. Hundreds of people present
praised these artists.
In this event Head of Project (Darlipali) Shri Ram Bhajan Malik, Project Hea Head of Project (Dulanga)
Shri Braj Raj Prasun, President (Abhilasha Ladies Club) Smt. Poonam Malik, General Manager (O&M) Shri
Hare Ram Singh, Heads of all departments, Chief Medical Officer (Darlipali), BBPS School Principal,
Women office bearers of Abhilasha Ladies Club, DC CISF, representatives of various unions and
associations, employees and hundreds of Shubhrajyoti Nagar spectators were present in the program.
