New Delhi, 19/11: The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted final anticipatory bail to Malayalam actor Siddique in a rape case registered against him based on allegations levelled by a young actress, by questioning the delay in lodging the FIR in 2024 with regard to alleged incident in 2016.
A bench of Justices Bela M Trivedi and Satish Chandra Sharma also pointed out the victim had the courage to write a Facebook post about but not to approach the police.
