Blood Donation Camp Organized by Banshidhar & Illa Panda Foundation

Rayagada: In a commendable initiative, the Bansidhar & Illa Panda Foundation, CSR arm of IMFA Ltd, Therubali organized a blood donation camp that saw an overwhelming response from the employees, their family members, and local youths. The event, held on 22/11/2024 at IMFA Employees Club at Gopabandhu Nagar aimed to address the critical need for blood donations and promote a culture of voluntary contribution to support local healthcare systems.
The camp was inaugurated by Sri Ashish Kumar Roy, Unit Head of IMFA Therubali in the presence of Ms. Mamata Pulaka, Sarapanch, Therubali, Dr. Goutam Pattanaik, BBO, DHH, Rayagada, Director of Local NGO PALLI VIKASH Sri Radhasyam Panda, Dr. Bagmi Panda, I/C IMFA Hospital, DGM (Hr. & Admn), Sri Sameer Kumar Raut, and other officials of IMFA.


The camp witnessed a diverse turnout, with individuals from various age groups and backgrounds coming forward to contribute to this noble cause. IMFA’s commitment to community welfare was evident as they collaborated with Blood Bank of DHH, Rayagada and AMA ODISHA RAKTA DANA ABHIYAN under the media house “The SAMBAD” to ensure a seamless and organized event.

“We are thrilled to see the community’s response to our blood donation camp said It reflects a strong sense of social responsibility and solidarity among the people,” said the Unit Head Sri Ashis Kumar Roy who has donated blood along with Sri.M. Srinivas, GM (Mech), Sri.K.C. Dash, DGM (Electrical) Medical professionals and trained staff from Blood Bank such as Sri Sarojkanta Acharya, Sri.B. Kishore Kumar, Sri Umakanta Mishra and Sri Shankar Tadingi were present to guide the donors through the process and collected 64 units of Blood.

The camp was organized under the leadership of Sri Sameer Kumar Raut, DGM (HR & Admin) coordinated By Sri Sovan Lenka, Asst Manager (PNL), Sri Prafulla Kumar Nanda, Manager Security. Hospital Staff members Sri.Dilip Kumar Mohapatra, Sri Rabindra Kausalya from the PR department.  Staff members of BIPF Tarun, Manasi, Sasmita, Chmpa, and local volunteers Apana, under the leadership of Project Officer Sri.Prabhakar Panda have managed the programme and successfully organized the camp
