SUBARNAPUR —Sonepur police has achieved great success. 2 quintals of 10 kg of ganja were seized and two accused were arrested. Also, the truck used was seized by Sonepur police. Ganjai was going in the truck carrying cattle food. It is believed that the estimated price of ganja (cannabis) will be more than 20 lakhs. In a press conference held at Sonepur police station today, Superintendent of Police,Subarnapur,Mr.Ram Prasad Sahu informed about this. According to the information, Sonepur police received a report from the Kantamal police station area of Boudh district that a courier truck (No.-HR-63 F 9333) was carrying cattle food while carrying ganja (cannabis) in a courier packet. The police stopped the truck near the Telnadi river bridge and checked the ganja inside it.Sonepur police have arrested two accused in the incident. The accused are Satish and Devender of Hariyana state.However, along with confiscating the truck, both of them will be prosecuted in court today, the Supdt. Of Police informed.
