Paradeep :24th All India Major Port Cultural Meet 2024-25 being held at Jayadev Sadan came to an end on December15th evening, but the memories will last a lifetime. Paradip Port Authority along with Major Ports Sports Control Board successfully organised the Cultural Extravaganza. Gracing the valedictory function as Chief Guest, Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman, PPA thanked the participants for entertaining the people of port township for the last four days. Around 200 participants from 8 Major Ports across the country participated in the cultural meet.
Team Paradip Port Authority was crowned as the overall Champion. Syama Prasad Mukerjee Port, Kolkata won the Runners-up and Mumbai Port Authority won the 2nd Runners-up award. Ms. Soumya Mishra, Team PPA bagged 1st prize in light vocal category. Shri D.N. Sondhi, Chairman, Organising Committee presided over the proceedings. Capt. A.C.Sahoo, Vice Chairman, Organising Committe, Dr. D.P. Sethy, Secretary, Shri Rabi Dash, Co-ordinator & Shri Ranjan Rashmi Beura, Jt. Secretary of Organising Committee were also present. Shri Sriman Narayan Mishra, DTM, PPA compeered the programme.
