Puri: In a press interaction, the Puri Srimandir Chief Administrator Arabinda Kumar Padhee said that there will be new darshan arrangement from the new year. According to reports, the special new darshan arrangements for people with special barricades will be started from the new year that is January 2025. Barricades will be set up for systematic darshan of Lord Jagannath and his siblings.In the coming days, sufficient hundis will be set up after discussion with the Chhatishanijoga and the Management Committee of the temple. Arabinda Kumar Padhee the SJTA Chief Administrator further said that, the repair work of the Ratna Bhandar shall be completed at the earliest. The renovation of the Ratna Bhandar is underway based on the NGRI report.Due to the Mahasnana yesterday, less time may be available for renovation. Identity cards have been issued to those who will be present during the renovation. The Chief Administrator of the temple said that the ASI will complete the renovation work soon.The Chief Administrator’s spoke about the issue of discipline in Ananda bazar (the prasad market inside the Jagannath temple premises). A committee has been formed in this regard. Retired army personnel have been appointed for the maintenance of peace in the Ananda bazar.
