Patna: There has been a BPSC protest in Bihar in which the police has been forced to use force on the students protesting in front of the public service commission office. According to reports student protestors have been demanding the cancellation of the Integrated Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024 conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Jan Suraaj Chief Prashant Kishore told ANI, “We met Bihar Chief Secretary, we thank him for taking out time and meeting us and the students but he didn’t make any decision. Maybe he needs to ponder.” He added, “maybe he needs clearance from the CM. We have put forward our matter.” “We have decided to give the government 48 hours, two days. Today CM is not in Patna. He will be back tonight. If govt wants, within 48 hours, can come up with a solution. If CM invites us, we and all these students will meet him. But if there is no action within 48 hours. Whatever decision the students will make regarding protest, it will be valid.” Thousands of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) aspirants continued their protest at Gandhi Maidan in Patna demanding a re-examination of the 70th BPSC preliminary exams.
