Kadambini Literary Festival 2025 & Kadambini Patrika Haat this Sunday; Marathi writer Dr. Dnyaneshwar Mulay to be conferred Neelimarani Sahitya Samman

Bhubaneswar, Jan 3: The Kadambini Literary Festival 2025 will be held on January 5 where acclaimed Marathi writer and diplomat Dr. Dnyaneshwar Mulay will be conferred the prestigious Neelimarani Sahitya Samman for his remarkable contribution to Indian literature.

Dr Mulay is known for his insightful works and unwavering dedication to cultural enrichment. He will receive a prize of Rs 10 lakh, a silver emblem, and a citation.

This annual celebration of language, literature, art, and culture will witness a gathering of eminent writers, poets, and artists from across the country, making it one of the most anticipated literary events of the year.

The festival, organized by Kadambini Media and Kadambini Sahitya Akademi, reflects the visionary leadership of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS. Established to celebrate and preserve the rich literary traditions of Odisha and beyond, the event will also feature the unique Kadambini Patrika Haata—India’s only magazine fair, where publishers, editors, and readers engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas.

The inaugural session will be presided over by Prof. Santanu Kumar Acharya, an eminent writer, while the distinguished Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA), will grace the occasion as Chief Guest. Renowned actor and director Shri Chandraprakash Dwivedi will deliver the keynote address, adding cinematic flair to the literary proceedings.

Notable personalities such as Ms. Banaj Devi, an eminent Odia writer, and Dr. Neena Verma, a multi-faceted author and blogger, will share the stage with celebrated dramatist and actor Shri Akhilendra Mishra. Together, they will contribute to thought-provoking discussions, creative exchanges, and the celebration of literary excellence.
