Chennai, 11/1: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Saturday accused Governor R N Ravi of “deliberately violating” the Constitution by not delivering his customary address to the Assembly, while terming the reasons cited by him for his actions as “absurd”.
In his reply to the Motion of Thanks to the Governor’s address in the Assembly, Stalin tore into Ravi for refusing to accept explanations that the convention in the House was to play Tamil Thai Vaazthu and the National Anthem at the start and end of Governor’s address respectively.
