Sambalpur; JSW Foundation, the CSR arm of JSW BPSL, recently organized the “Share the Warmth Drive”
to support vulnerable communities in Sambalpur and Jharsuguda, Odisha. This initiative
aimed to provide relief from the cold waves by distributing 350 blankets to those in need
across various locations, including Banjari in Jharsuguda, Bhuiladihi in Lapanga Gram
Panchayat, Dr. Isac Santra Balniketan, Red Cross Parbati Giri Matru Bhawan, Rukmini Lath Bal
Niketan Child Care Center, and Samartha Mental Home Shelter in Sambalpur.
The drive focused on helping the elderly, children, and individuals living in shelters, aligning
with JSW Foundation’s commitment to social welfare. The initiative received an overwhelming
response, demonstrating the company’s dedication to community well-being, especially
during harsh weather conditions.
Local residents and organizations praised the drive, which helped ease the challenges posed
by severe cold waves. This initiative highlights JSW Foundation’s ongoing efforts to create a
positive impact and build a more inclusive future for all.
