Delhi Elections: Former Delhi CM and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal files nomination papers

New Delhi: Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal filed nomination papers today. He filed his nomination from the Delhi seat. He was accompanied by his wife Sunita Kejriwal and many women supporters.

A post from the Aam Aadmi Party’s social media handle said in Hindi which roughly translates as, “We will bring Kejriwal again” Mothers and sisters of Delhi reached the nomination journey of their son-brother Arvind Kejriwal ji to bless him. The blessings of 2.5 crore people of Delhi are with Arvind Kejriwal ji.”Arvind Kejriwal took out a procession with his wife Sunita and women supporters before filing his nomination. He also offered prayers at the Hanuman Temple and the Valmiki Temple in Connaught Place. AAP leader Manish Sisodia will also file his nomination from Jangpura today. Next, Saurabh Bhardwaj will file his nomination from Greater Kailash and Gopal Rai from Babarpur.Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had said in a social media post that ‘Today I am going to file my nomination. Many of my mothers and sisters from all over Delhi will accompany me to bless me. Before filing my nomination, I will visit Valmiki Temple and Hanuman Temple to seek the blessings of the Lord.”Arvind Kejriwal will contest from the Delhi seat against BJP’s Pravesh Verma and Congress’s Sandeep Dixit. There will be a three-way fight in Delhi. It is worth mentioning that the Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 5. The election results will be declared on the February 8 This time, 1.55 crore voters will choose the government in Delhi.
