Drugs and contraband goods worth Rs 4 crore seized from Bhubaneswar Airport, 1 detained

Bhubaneswar: Contraband goods worth Rs 4 crore were seized from the Biju Patnaik International airport, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday morning. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence and the Customs Department seized the contraband goods and drugs.According to sources, a man of Kerala origin was found carrying the contraband goods from Bangkok to Bhubaneswar when the intelligence nabbed him. The Customs department is investigating the matter by detaining the man.The Kerala man had been given the task to supply the drugs that was seized from the Bhubaneswar airport today. The officials have detained the man and started an enquiry.Earlier, Marijuana valued at Rs 10 crore was seized by the customs from Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
