Delhi: The Delhi Police Special Cell has finally arrested the 26-year-old wanted accused, Sunny who evaded arrest for over four years. The police recovered one pistol from his possession. Declared as a proclaimed offender by the court, Sunny hails from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, and was wanted for double murder.Sunny was arrested by the Special Cell from Najafgarh area on January 12. The police claimed that Sunny was involved in seven criminal cases and was wanted in a double murder case that took place in Narela area in June 2020.He and his associates had already killed two guards of a factory by shooting at them. During this period, while on the run, Sunny, along with his associates, started stealing petrol/diesel from the high-pressure underground pipelines.Information was received that Sunny would be coming to the Najlesia Najafgarh area. He was trapped there and arrested from near Sunday Bazar Road.Reportedly, the accused Sunny, who studied up to Class 12, used to work in AC repairing in the Narela area.
