Sundergarh: The body of a 4-year-old girl who went missing two days ago, was found in a nullah near a farm in Jada village, under Gurundia police station, near Bonai in Sundergarh district. The family of the deceased identified as Deepali Munda, alleged she was murdered. Police detained a neighbour couple.
According to reports, Deepali, daughter of Raju Munda, had gone out to play and didn’t return home in the evening. A search by the neighbour yielded nothing initially, but later, the body of the girl was found floating in a small nullha in the farmland.The police have filed a case of unnatural death and are investigating the incident. The neighbour couple has been detained, while their son has been sent to a government hospital for medical examination. The police have launched a probe from all possible angles, including murder, to ascertain the cause of death.
